Project Team of the Year

The Project Team of the Year Award honors a multidisciplinary team that has demonstrated exceptional collaboration, coordination and execution in delivering a corrections or justice project. 

This award highlights the importance of coordination among owners, designers, builders and partners in successfully delivering complex projects. 

Eligibility 

Eligible teams must include representatives from multiple disciplines and have contributed to a corrections-related project completed or substantially advanced within the past three years. 

Selection Process 

Nominees will be evaluated according to the following criteria: 

  • Excellence in Collaboration: Seamless integration of owner, designer, builder and partner roles, fostering a unified approach to complex challenges 
  • Strategic Problem-Solving: Ability to proactively address technical, operational, budgetary or political challenges with effective, innovative solutions 
  • Execution and Delivery Performance: Achievement of project goals related to cost, schedule, quality and operational readiness 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Meaningful engagement with users, community members and oversight entities throughout the project lifecycle 
  • Overall Project Impact: Demonstrated success in delivering a facility that enhances safety, efficiency and long-term operational performance 

How to Nominate 

Correctional News welcomes nominations from peers, colleagues and industry professionals. 

To nominate, please complete the nomination form when the voting period openings, including detailed justification and supporting materials such as project descriptions, performance data or professional accomplishments. Multiple nominations for the same candidate are accepted. Anonymous submissions will not be considered.
