Electro-Muscular Disruption Weapon

Taser International’s new X26 is almost equal in power to the familiar M26, but is 60 percent smaller and lighter. The X26 has a longer battery life and its new digital-power magazine prevents users from putting batteries in upside down, a common problem with the M26.

Ergonomically improved, the X26 also allows the user to turn off the laser sight. Other new features include a readout panel with information on battery life and a 5-second countdown indicating how long a subject is incapacitated. A computer chip tracks the life of the warranty.
