Geo Renews Contract at Pennsylvania Facility

THORNTON, Pa. — Geo Group Inc. signed a contract with the Pennsylvania Board of Prison Inspectors to continue management of the George W. Hill Correctional Facility in Delaware County, which the company has managed since 1995.

The contract allows for a 1,883-bed expansion of the facility and is expected to generate approximately $36.6 million in operating revenues in its first year. The contract will have an initial term of 19 months, at which point a renewal could be offered to Geo Group, followed by successive two-year renewal periods.
