We are spreading the news straight from Brooklyn, New York, the site of the Academy of Architecture for Justice’s 6th International Conference on Courthouse Design.
This year the conference highlighted security issues at prominent facilities that could be targeted by terrorists, along with other issues affecting justice facilities throughout the United States.
If you didn’t make it to the show, Correctional News Associate Editor Michelle M. Murphy was there to get a first-hand account of seminars and happenings in the exhibit hall and meeting areas.
Also, longtime Correctional News columnist and justice architecture guru Stephen Carter, of Carter Goble Lee, reports on a panel he chaired at the conference that examined two innovative family courts on opposite sides of the country.
