The GEO Group Announces Results of State of Florida Rebids with No Impact to GEO’s Financial Guidance

BOCA RATON, Fla.—-The GEO Group announced today the results of the rebids of two of its managed-only contracts in the State of Florida. The State of Florida has issued a Notice of Intent to Award contracts for the GEO-managed 1,884-bed Graceville Correctional Facility and 985-bed Moore Haven Correctional Facility to another operator effective August 1, 2010.
