Harlan Trombley
Harlan Trombley has joined the Montana Department of Corrections as the state’s new American Indian Liaison. In his new role, Trombley will serve as a link between law enforcement and American Indian offenders, their families, the Office of Indian Affairs, tribal councils and others. As a member of the Blackfeet Nation, Trombley will also use his personal and professional experience to provide training in American Indian culture to correctional officers. Trombley first joined Blackfeet Law Enforcement Services as a police officer, and has worked with the Cascade County Adult Detention Center for more than a decade as case manager, unit manager and supervisor. Trombley earned his degree in criminal justice from the University of Great Falls.
