Integrated Switchboard

The Cutler-Hammer Integrated Facility System switchboard manufactured by Eaton combines traditionally separate pieces of equipment into a front-accessible unit, according to the company. The switchboard is designed to give correctional facility operators the opportunity to merge entrance equipment, lighting and appliance panelboards, dry-type distribution transformers, surge suppression, lighting controls, metering, energy monitoring devices and UPSs.

The units are shipped to the construction site ready to install and they are configured with traditional electrical distribution equipment. The integrated strategy can reduce installation time and space requirements for new construction projects and renovations, according to Eaton.
