Gary Golder will assume the position of director of the development services for CGL’s Latin America office. Prior to joining the firm, Golder worked for the U.S. Department of State in Mexico with the Merida Initiative as the corrections reform program coordinator, where he played a vital role in supporting the reform of the correctional system. His other experiences include serving over 22 years in the Colorado prison system, where he began his career as a correctional officer and moved through the ranks to director of prisons. In this position, Golder was responsible for operational control and supervision of over 22 institutions that housed nearly 23,000 inmates and 5,400 staff members. He was also responsible for the management and supervision of six private facilities. During his career, he established and strengthened a close relationship with law enforcement agencies and reiterated the correctional community commitment.
