Cell-Phone Detector

Netline Communications Technologies offers the Cellular Activity Analyzer (CAA), a modified hand-held computer that detects active and dormant cellular phones. The unit can be used to guide cell phone seizures in facilities where inmates possess cellular contraband.

Whenever a cellular transmission is detected, the CAA provides the user with real-time audio and visual alerts. CAA also creates a log report of cellular activity taking place during a certain period of time, logging the exact time of every cellular transmission, as well as the transmission’s duration, type and strength.

Unlike cell-phone jamming technologies, cell-phone detectors are legal under regulations of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission.
