The LG IrisAccess 3000 is designed with voice prompt, auto-focus, enrollment, and fast recognition. From up to 10 inches away an individual looks into the camera and the LG IrisAccess 3000 captures the iris pattern, digitally processes it (into a 512-byte IrisCode record), compares it to those stored in the database, and makes the identification. Pin numbers and passwords are not required.

When a new user’s eye is in position, the camera automatically zooms to focus on the iris. When the iris is in focus, the image is captured through a frame grabber and transformed into a coded record. The code is then registered into the service PC and can be downloaded to the identification control unit.

IrisAccess may be used for both staff and inmates and is effective in a wide variety of applications, particularly in ingress/egress intensive areas such as staff break rooms and work-release centers.
