Tennessee Readies for Second Execution Since 1960

A convicted rapist is scheduled to be executed early Wednesday morning if a federal court denies two appeals filed by his lawyers.

Sedley Alley’s lawyers are following the path of several other death row cases throughout the country by asking the court halt the execution because the lethal injection method used in the state is cruel and unusual punishment, reports The Tennessean newspaper. Read more, HERE.
