Anti-Ram Fence System

The Impasse Stalwart Anti-Ram fence system by Ameristar Fence Products passes the requirements of the U.S. Department of State SD-STD-02.01 for K12 application. The system has also been declared a certified barrier for anti-terrorism force protection applications by the department.

The system will stop a 15,000-pound vehicle traveling 50 mph in less than one meter from the barrier line. The system uses posts that stand about 48 inches above grade that are supported by several feet of concrete below grade. Anchored 1-inch-diameter cables that link the posts are protected with a cover plate.
