Beverly J. Prior

Now responsible for the growth, strategy and development of the core practices at HMC Architects, newly appointed president, Beverly J. Prior, FAIA, LEED AP BD+C, holds over 30 years of experience. The founder of Beverly Prior Architects, Prior previously led the designs of numerous projects, including the LEED Gold-certified Juvenile Justice Complex in Alameda County. A part of the AIA College of Fellows, Prior also served on the National AIA Board of Directors. After her company merged with HMC, she continued as a practice leader and became chair of the firm’s Practice Forum to oversee the justice, health care and education markets.
