MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Detention equipment contractor Norment Security Group continued its recent strategy for expanding market presence with the acquisition of security and life safety electronics manufacturer and integrator Engineered Control Systems.
 
Although the terms of the deal were not disclosed, the acquisition of Engineered Control Systems enhances Norment’s product offerings and market presence, particularly in fire alarm systems segment of the market.
