BI Inc. Integrates Robocuff Products

BOULDER, Colo. — Offender supervision and re-entry services firm Behavioral Interventions Inc. began offering Robocuff products in June as part of licensing agreement with Atlanta-based AnyTransactions Inc.

Under the multi-year agreement, which is designed to expand BI Inc.’s correctional and pretrial community supervision services, the company will offer voice identification and self-report products powered by Robocuff.

“Agencies want a vendor that can supply a complete range of solutions to support their supervision efforts,” says Jock Waldo, of Behavioral Interventions.

Designed as a case management tool, Self Report will provide an automated system that allows offenders under less intensive supervision to inform case workers of a change in status, including compliance with conditions of release, treatment program attendance and employment or home address.

The automated voice identification system monitors offenders or pretrial defendants under supervision through random or scheduled daily telephone check-ins at approved locations, such as home, school and place of employment.

Both systems use a baseline voiceprint of the offender under supervision, which is matched to the caller’s voice for positive identification during each call to the automated system. Supervising agencies and case workers are immediately alerted of any violation.
