Hugh D. Lester
With a focus on detention and correctional systems, Hugh D. Lester is currently pursuing a doctorate at Stevens Institute of Technology and works at the Center for Complex Systems & Enterprises. Having obtained bachelor’s degrees in psychology and architecture as well as a master’s degree in criminal justice, Lester brings 15 years of planning and design experience to his position at CCSE. Previously, he served as a senior justice designer at AECOM, where he contributed to detention, correctional, juvenile and courthouse projects. His most recent works include the Long Beach Court Building, Wayne County Consolidated Detention and the Los Angeles County Men¹s Central Jail.
