Bernard Salandy was recently appointed jail administrator at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Salandy previously served as the county’s correctional work center superintendent. He holds a professional certification from the National Institute of Corrections Jail Administration program and is a certified Tennessee Corrections Institute instructor. Salandy has devoted more than 24 years to corrections, beginning with the New York City Department of Corrections. Has has served Rutherford County since 1995 and was named superintendent of the Rutherford County Correctional Work Center in 2010.
