North Dakota’s Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Director Colby Braun received the Charles Colson Advocate of Hope Award an award Sept. 12 for a career spent bringing positive change and hope to the state’s prison system.

North Carolina Secretary of Adult Correction Todd Ishee has named Isaac Rogers as warden of Granville Correctional Institution. Rogers previously served as warden of Dan River Prison Work Farm. 

Franklin County (Pa.) Commissioners have announced Heather Franzoni as the new warden of the Franklin County Jail. Franzoni replaces Christopher Schell, who stepped down from the role earlier this year. 

Jessica Moncada recently received the 2024 Edward J. Loughran Outstanding Leadership Award from the Council of Juvenile Justice Administrators (CJJA). The award recognizes her leadership and commitment to implementing the mission values and goals of CJJA.  

Dr. Larome Myrick was recently honored with the prestigious President’s Award by the Council of Juvenile Justice Administrators (CJJA). 

Armen Armenakyan was among the many outstanding staff members honored recently by the NC Department of Adult Correction, which recognized outstanding employees on June 27th in a celebration at the McKimmon Center at North Carolina State University in Raleigh.
